Awana Reformation Celebration Nite
October 31 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
After the events of the New Testament, the day a humble, young monk nailed his 95 criticisms of the practices and abuses of the Roman Catholic church to the town bulletin board, October 31, 1517, was the most significant day of church history. We want to honor Martin Luther’s courage, and help young people know the truth about his commitment to the Bible and to Jesus. Dressing up in period costume (think kings, princesses, late-medieval solders, monks, peasants, etc.) Prizes will be awarded for most clever, creative costume. Special large group lesson on Martin Luther.
